Pleasure

You would think that with two enterprises, a board position, and three kids, Fevin would have no time for pleasure. Not true!

Professionally, Fevin's career didn’t start after college.  It actually started in grade school selling World’s Finest Chocolate and watching his parents work side jobs, like selling real estate, knock-off clothing, and fake Gucci and Louis Vuitton purses.  Haha. His parents’ entrepreneurship helped him develop a strong work ethic, build relationships and trust, live with integrity, and believe that profit is way better than wages.  At the early age of 14, Fevin got a special work permit for his first W2 job at Phones Plus at the Harlem Irving Plaza (HIP!).  While in high school, he worked at Foot Locker and TJ MAXX.  While in college, he was blessed to work as an intern in his field of study at amazing Fortune 500 companies: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, S.C. Johnson Wax, AT&T, Walt Disney Buena Vista Pictures Marketing, and Powersoft/Sybase.  Fortunate to graduate in 4 years with 12+ offers in hand, Fevin took the risk of joining the technology field in his first job working for PLATINUM technology.  Over the course of 6 years, he worked for Sybase, Microstrategy, NCA Teradata, eHUB Logistics, Day Network, and finally DIVINE Interventures. When 9/11 occurred, he made the decision to go full-time and build the family real estate practice called Red Era Realty.  For the past 22 years, Fevin has served over 1000 clients valuing over $225 million in sales.  He helped his parents retire in 2005, created red era group team and became the first Filipino broker-owner of a RE/MAX office in the USA, consistently proving himself a Top Producer for the past 14 years.  He was one of a handful of the original real estate brokers in Chicago that serves as Dave Ramsey's Endorsed Local Providers of Real Estate for over 17 years. He was in Chicago Magazine for five straight years as real estate leader in Chicago. 

Graciously knowing that selling real estate is a grind and always on-call, Fevin became a student of finding additional ways of leveraging his talent, yet serving hundreds of people in finding financial relief. He was introduced to ACN from his mentee that “flips homes.” This unique opportunity helped his clients, friends, and family save money on their monthly home and small business expenses and achieve that additional streams of income.  Fevin lead the MATRIX Millionaires Movement in Chicago with the greatest leaders of all time in the industry, such as founder Greg Provenzano, SVP Byron Nelson, and SVP Brian Sax for over 6 years.   

In his last years living in Chicago, Fevin served as a board member of the Board of Specified Jurisdiction, at Mary, Seat of Wisdom School, in Park Ridge.  He was on Strategy and Planning for the school for 2 years and focused on school recruitment in Institutional Advancement.  He assisted the school to reach a goal of over 500+ students the Summer 2015.   

Fevin’s only son Ayrton suffered over a dozen trips to Children’s Memorial Hospital with pneumonia being a premie baby. The cold and unpredictable Chicago was simply too much for baby boy. It was time to make a change in climate and pace of life. The Reyes family relocated to sunny San Diego the summer of 2015. He served as productivity coach with Keller Williams and Board member of Coronado Real Estate Association.

Life pivoted yet again in 2016 when Fevin suffered a massive stroke that left him to invest the next 5 years rehabbing his brain and body back to near 100%. He credits his faith in God, his amazing wife Myleen, all the therapists, family, friends and middle aged CrossFit for his near 100% recovery!

In late 2020, Fevin pivoted yet again by simmering down his real estate practice and pursuing other passions. He was one of the founding employees for LUCID Motors opening up the 1st La Jolla studio. He was on the original team of opening up the QC Kinetix San Diego region clinics for non-surgical regenerative medicine. His latest love is that of Pickleball! Just like they say in Ted Lasso, “PickleballIsLiFe!”

Fevin credits his turn around - from a C-D student always in trouble, to a straight-A student graduating top of his class - to his high school love that he was introduced to by mutual friends in his freshman year.  Love truly conquers all.  For over 30 years and 20 years of marriage, Fevin’s parents thank the Lord for putting Myleen into his life and straightening him up.  Myleen’s parents, however, wonder what the heck happened to their perfect child since meeting Fevin!  Today, Fevin and Myleen are extremely blessed to have happy, healthy, spunky, smart children ages 14, 10, and 6; Abigail, Andrea, and Ayrton (yep, named after legendary Brazilian 3 time world champion Formula 1 driver, Ayrton Senna).  For 10 years, they had the pleasure of thanking their beautiful, ultra shedding, incredibly farty, super-loving Olde English Bulldogge, Maddie, for introducing them to parenthood before the incredible little humans came into their lives.  Not knowing his father’s parents, Fevin was blessed to have an amazing relationship with his maternal grandfather until he passed at the age of 89 and his grandmother of 103 years of age.  As a Filipino-American, you can assume correctly - he has way too many cousins, tita’s, and tito’s around the globe to mention here.  Haha.

Pleasure

Fevin believes in the art of balancing the five circles of life to maximize performance: Spiritual, Family, Business, Personal, and Financial.  Fevin doesn’t have many vices.  He doesn’t smoke (just an inhaler when needed), he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t gamble, and he certainly isn’t part of any fight clubs (although cross-fit gyms is always an internal mental fight! lol).  Fevin LOVES tennis and motorsports.  Before the multiple children came, he raced and taught people how to drive their Porsche’s, Audis, and other everyday cars on racetracks around the world.  In fact, he spent several days driving around the famed Nurburgring in Germany back in 2005.  He has driven every notable race track east of the Mississippi River such as Mid-Ohio, Road America, Virginia International Raceway (VIR), Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, and was a member at Autobahn Country Club.  Since motorsports is dangerous, and he wants to see his children grow up before his eyes, Fevin has taken a more subtle approach to adrenaline by reigniting his love for tennis (now Pickleball!) and frequently seen at the Coronado tennis center.  Since he is getting older daily, it’s harder to stay in shape and keep up with the kids.  Fevin has taken up middle aged CrossFit at Sweat Circuit gym and Pickleball in Coronado.
